Description
Delightful small item of late Victorian silver. This attractive pillbox is formed in the shape of a heart with a decorated repoussé hinged lid. The lid is hinged to the side and the interior is richly gilded. The central front cartouche has script initials and to the reverse is a charming inscription ‘Souvenir Jan 3rd 1900’. Unusually the box is fitted with an attaching loop to the top, giving the option of being worn as a pendant from a neck chain. A lovely and practical piece and a great gift idea for someone special.nnHallmarks:-Full, clear set to base and corresponding part set to lid.nnDate:- Birmingham 1899nMaker:- Adie & Lovekin Ltd
