Large top quality Victorian triple section hallmarked solid silver nurses belt buckle.nMakers mark for George Edwin Walton with the full Birmingham hallmark with the date letter for 1899. All the sections are stamped as shown.nGenuine antique over 125 years old.nCast silver decorated with pierce work, a similar design to a Scottish Celtic knot to the centre with flowers and foliage in the side panels.nLarge size so more than likely for a matron or midwife.nOne section clips to the side of the centre the other is hinged.nThe silver weight is 42 grams.nExcellent condition, no damage or repairs to any part of the buckle.nWill be delivered in a tissue lined gift box.nHappy to answer any questions.
